2019 Presidential Election: APC accuses PDP of “dirty” plots

2019 Presidential Election is on the way and 23rd of February is the judgment day.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has pointed accusing fingers at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Saying it (PDP) planned “dirty” plots, mainly on using bribery as a tool to manipulate election results on Saturday.

The National publicity secretary of the APC the ruling party, in a statement by Lanre Issa-Onilu, said this is birthed from the opposition’s fear of losing.

“The opposition party resolved to monetarily induce major actors and institutions in the electoral process with a view to compromising them ahead of the elections.” he said

The APC accused the main opposition party has totalled plans to distribute money to individuals. This includes every key personnel who are paramount in the presidential elections.

It however is yet to present any firm of concrete evidence to back its accusations.

It also accused the “umbrella party” of schemes to share sums of money. This money, ranging from 5 to 10 million US dollars to states for “logistics and mobilisation” on Saturday.

As reported by the “broom party” , the PDP is allegedly aiming for key INEC officials, security agencies and voters alike. This is in order to kick off their rigging schemes and other criminal plots .

The APC also alleged that the PDP is recruiting “faceless bloggers”. It said this was for the sole aim of defiling pivotal security agencies through social media.

Till the elections are over, the party has called on everyone to be on the lookout and ward of any threat by the PDP.
