Wells Fargo goes (AWOL) Absent Without Leave

For those who don’t know about Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo & Company is an American multinational financial services company headquartered in San Francisco, California, with central offices throughout the United States.

USA TODAY | Wells Fargo is working around the clock in order to resolve a pandemic outage hindering some customers from using the mobile app and denying them access to their online banking accounts.

While some customers tried to log in online, there was a display on the screen which read: “We’re experiencing some technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience as some of our web pages are temporarily unavailable.”

Wells Fargo has reached out to its customers on social media.

The bank, which is also the second largest bank in the world by market capitalization tweeted in its official handle:

“We apologize to our customers who may be experiencing an issue with our online banking and mobile app.

Thanks for your patience while we research this issue. If you are impacted, please check back here for updates,”

“We’re experiencing system issues due to a power shutdown at one of our facilities, initiated after smoke was detected following routine maintenance.

We’re working to restore services as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

However , Wells Fargo customers from the Twitter community have been “far from shy” as they pour out their hearts about being unable to access the bank’s website and app.
